31252- WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN DWM MAUSER GEW 98 INFANTRY RIFLE DATED 1917. All matching except bolt which is an original WW1 era field replacement with matching patina. Even stock serial number matching. Receiver with Imperial German Ordnance proofs and stamped “DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND/MUNITIONSFABRIKEN/BERLIN/1917”. All original with the original finish overall with old attic storage patina. Really nice Ordnance Inspectors stamps on stock and metal. Stock wrist with WW1 era arsenal dowel repaired wrist. Perfect working order and good bore that will clean well. Even has the original rear sling swivel which is often missing. A real bring back from and very hard to find. (SOLD)
